More than 100 years ago, the first owners of the Hotel Julien knew the importance of making an impression. That legacy lives on today in the region's most elegant setting for social events. The Grande Ballroom and Fleur de Lis Room accommodates up to 500 guests and features 17' ceilings with chandeliers. Guests can enjoy views of the Port of Dubuque through magnificent windows and dance the night away on parquet floors. The Grande Ballroom is also adjacent to the expansive Atrium which offers comfortable seating areas as well as the option of an additional reception area.
